Jean-François Loisel is a doctor in information and communication sciences. He obtained his doctorate at the University of New Caledonia within the Interdisciplinary Laboratory for Research in Education (LIRE). During his thesis he was interested in the process of appropriation of digital communication devices in the high school. Since 2021, he has been a contractual teacher at the IUT of the University of New Caledonia and he continues his research within LIRE as an associate researcher.
