Biographie

Olivier Galy est directeur du Laboratoire interdisciplinaire de recherche en éducation à l’Université de Nouvelle-Calédonie et co-coordinateur scientifique du projet Européen «Agriculture familiale, mode de vie et santé dans le Pacifique» (H2020, MSCA-RISE 2020-2024). Son expertise dans le domaine de la physiologie de l’exercice, a pour objectif de comprendre l’impact sur la santé de l’activité humaine (exercice, activité physique, inactivité, sommeil) associé aux facteurs individuels et socio-environnementaux du mode de vie. Son approche originale combine les méthodologies et connaissances de la physiologie de l’exercice avec les technologies digitales pour étudier le mode de vie des populations en condition de vie réelle (athlètes, écoliers, familles et communautés).
